Did a bit of spring cleaning, then decided to enjoy the nicer temps in the upper 40's. bass 3 2.25.2018.png bass 4 2.25.2018.jpg bass 2.25.2018 2.png

Looks like the fish were feeling the nicer weather also and decided to come out to play.

These warm late February days make for some excellent pond fishing. My biggest largemouth came from a strip it in late February.

I thought I was snagged on a log on one of them. Fun stuff.

I fished a small impoundment close to home for a couple hours yesterday afternoon. No idea what they wanted or where they were, but it beat the heck out of NOT fishing for a couple hours :).
Hoping a week of warm temps and sun will make next weekend better.....

Spring is always nice timing on local farm ponds for largemouth. Looks like fun Joe!
