Anyone hunt the busiek conservation area just south of springfield. Hunted it once during the firearms season saw 2 and heard 5 total and was curious if anyone had ever hunted it

Also any of you hunt the drury area as well so i can say hey if I see you truck down there

Never hunted it, BUT when I have been down there shooting i've always seen several deer.

1. They are used to the shooting near the range
2. Although they are used to it, the trails in/around the range get used ALOT by foot traffic. Id imagine if you got off the main trail 50 yards youd find the deer trails, aka jus out of site of the main trail

Other then that, im no help.

thats what I did was walk back on the trails and then got about 40 yards off to the edge between 2 ridges and a crossing point oin the stream and saw all the deer but it wasnt until almost dark out but I hear they use the trails there as much as people do

Nope Drury Mincy is a wasteland ! Just squirrels and Armadillos.
