Busch Wildlife - Youth Hunt
Looking for some intel from the guys who just ended the archery hunt at Busch Wildlife.
My son will be able to hunt the property next Saturday and Sunday. This morning we are at orientation and then we’ll head out to make a couple of ground blinds, we are not allowed to hunt from tree stands.

Is your son shooting the first thing he sees or is he going for decent buck or monster buck only?!

We found a couple of decent spots today but it is was tough with the bush honeysuckle and no tree stands allowed for the youth portion.

I got a spot for u. Guaranteed deer!! Last time i was in this spot i saw probably 15 deer in a 4 hour sit. Big one came in at dark and couldn’t get a shot. But saw alot of does and a few decent bucks!
How far are you all wanting to walk?
As far as need be. We have one spot along the northwest property we plan to hunt if we have a wind out of any westerly direction. We are parking at the archery range and walking in from there. What did you have in mind?How far are you all wanting to walk?
