I bumped a few bucks yesterday setting cameras out. In your experience do they return to same area. One that ran off id love to put on the wall.

Sure, it's still early yet.

Years ago before the 93 flood we bowhunted Ted Shanks.
In 86 there was a fall flood. We had a group of around 15 guys hunting there during opening weekend. Some where there for the hunting. Some for the adult beverages. Some for both.
A buddy and I were walking a levee to get in position for a small drive through a flooded corn field. As we approached a junction of another levee a buck in the 150's blasted out of the corner and headed for the hills to the west.
Later that day we busted him from the same spot and he headed the same way like his tail was on fire and his a$$ was catching. Twice in the same day from the same spot.
The next morning we posted a guy where he would get a shot when the buck crossed the road. Honestly didn't think that the buck would be there but he was. He took off the same direction.
Buddy let the air out of him as he came by.
He was a 10 and scored153" even.

So yes, if they want to be there, they will be.

Deer get bumped their whole life. They're used to it. The only thing that runs them out of any place is repeated disturbance or destruction of the cover. IMO.

^^This.
I was reading about deer moving back into flooded areas, and the majority of displaced bucks will return to the same spots even if it was flooded for an extended time period.
Wouldn't even give it a second thought.
Makes me feel better. There was 3 bucks together and one was a stud with split tines on several point.
Bumped a group of 7 bucks every other day putting corn out when I was a kid. Never seemed to bother them.

Man you must either worry about a lot of stuff are absolutely nothing at all if you're the least but concerned about bumping a deer or three in mid July.
They never return. Spot is ruined. You should tell me where it's at so I can be sure not to go there too.

Site fidelity in whitetail deer. It’s worth a Google.
I believe often a bucks summer range is different than his fall range, but there could be some overlap. A lot of things could move him hundreds or even thousands of yards away - food, cover, does, bucks, hunting pressure...
But there is definitely a chance he will be in the same general area. Good luck!

He might b back but u never know. He might just b using ur property during the summer and b on ur Neighboring property during fall/winter. Have u seen this buck before during season????
My guess is the changing of food sources will move them around more than you bumping them.
Around October they will move but should be ok first of Archery Season.

:D The Big Grin would get it now before poachers get him.
