Looking at the county by county results I noticed that some counties have killed more bucks than does. Mainly NW MO was this way. I'm no expert so I was wondering what can this be attributed to? What does it say about the quality of the herd or the number of big bucks taken in these counties?

I wouldn't think there is anything affecting this other than luck and timing

Some counties are saying they aren't seeing the numbers of deer that they would like so this may be a reflection of some people taking management into their own hands and not shooting does. Just a thought, I don't know this to be true

I can agree with that. I would also say there are many hunters that will not shoot a doe during the regular firearms season and will hold off until the antlerless season, so you may not be able to get a good read on that data until after the antlerless season is over.

where i was at, we killed 3 bucks, 2 bb(dog sized, i dont get that), and 2 does.
