well i got my first mature buck this weekend!!!!! im so pumpled, man its a great feeling! ill take you throught the story....
friday morning i climbed into my loc on in a major pinch point. deer activity was awesome! about 9 o'clock i see a shooter crusing a hillside about 130 yards away... so i whip out my vector and grunted a couple times and i got him to stop and really think about what he just heard :D... then he looks back because another deer blew at something so her hurried off into the timber.. and i see him about 10 minutes later 300 yards away on top of a hill and then go down the side of a hill out of sight.
saturday morning about 9 o'clock i see him again walking the same exact way but this time chasing a doe! he had one thing on his mind. 50 minutes later i hear a deer crashing through the woods and a deep DEEP grunt. the doe comes right under my stand and then THE SAME BUCK I SAW YESTERDAY AND EARLIER IS 30 YARDS BEHIND HER! the doe goes right under my stand... so i draw my bow and the big boy comes the saw eaxct way from my left i tied to get him to stop and he had no idea i was there so he was taken off guard and keep going a 5 yards and of course he stops behind some limbs.. so hes at a dead stand still and i have my pin on him and im thinking in my head if i should chance the shot... 30 seconds go by and i say to myself its now or never! so i let it fly and THWACK. I LUNGED HIM AT 15 yards.. then i got the shakes and he ran off with blood coming out goes to a thicket about 80 yards away and piles up!!!!! sorry for the long story but i hope yall enjoy it!
