Hopefully wind dies down before dark. We read that bucks are coming in to decoys. Fingers crossed!

I saw a young buck today nosing two does and had a decent one checking scrapes near me.

Doe with a yearling and a spike is all we seen. Wind didn't let up till right at last light.

Don't think they ever seen it, probably give the decoy another try.

Put buck decoy 25 yards upwind and facing you. My best luck with a decoy has been oct 28 to nov10.

Decoy hunting is awesome. Killed my 4th buck using a buck decoy Oct 20th. If they are mature, they will come in, typically.

Your post was the reason I knocked the dust off my old buck decoy. Think it would be neat to video my son shooting a buck coming in to a decoy all postured up.

Cut hole in head and jam one plastic antler in your doe. Now you have buck decoy like me.

ours is going about 12 yards away, really looking for a 10 yard shot for the kiddo.
