Indeed. He is a natural with a gun. Paw paw has been calling him dead eye since he made the shot.
It was kinda funny. The deer stepped out in the only spot that he could shoot more than 40 yards. I said "bub he is a bit far" and in an almost sarcastic confident voice he said "well it's broad side". I asked "are you on him" and he replies"yeah" again in that almost sarcastic confident voice. So I said "well shoot it" and the gun went off before I could finish the word shoot lol. Big mule kick and I knew the shot was good.
