Good luck. Between hurting my knee elk hunting and this heat I’m holding off for a while. I would like to at least run my trail cameras though. Getting a good deer on camera might persuade me to go earlier.
Sounds like a plan. Be sure to start the story with "and there I wuz"I ran out of wine explaining to rat,how to keel a duck......if I get sum mo,ill call yo and explain how to keel a deer.:scared:
The only thing on that list I do when it is hot is foodplot work. When I was your age I hunted regardless of temps. Now I am content to wait for more comfortable sitting temps. This evening would be nice were it not for the storms moving in right now. It's dumb to not hunt deer on a summer pattern IMO. We plant food plots in the heat, hang stands, cut lanes, clear ninja trails etc when it's as hot and hotter. Now is just sitting in a tree.
