that is my howa 22-250 i picked up a couple of weeks ago. i am sold on howa rifles. the triggers need attention but after that they are absolutely great rifles in my opinion. had some 40 grain v-max's laying around from my .223 recipes so i loaded up a few and got it sighted in. the scope on it is a bsa which was on my .17 and will go back as soon as the funds are up to get a little better glass for this package. just couldn't take it sitting around yesterday so decided the howa needed to get on something. one thing sw mo has not shortage of is coyotes. i personally love to coyote hunt and it is one of my passions. buddies give me all sorts of grief during the deer season because i won't pass up a chance at a yote. on my 3rd stand turned the caller on for a couple minutes and then sat for about a minute and a half listening to a squirrel giving it all kinds of heck on the other side of the field. figured something was coming but kind of thought it would have been a cat with as slow as it came. the squirrel shut up and a minute later he stuck his head out and just looked for a few minutes. soon as he was in the field the howa barked and claimed it's 1st victim.:dancin:
