Is it legal to Bow hunt public land during the firearm season? I know that I would need to use my firearm tag as well as wear blaze orange.

Please check the deer and turkey regulations booklet for specifics but yes, most public areas that are open to deer hunting you can archery hunt during the firearms portion on a firearms tag. There may be specific regulations regarding harvest on each area so please consult the regulation booklet for more details. Conservation Areas that are archery only will not require you to wear blaze orange to bow hunt during firearms season due to single projectiles being prohibited on the property. This is similar to regulations within municipalities that are also open to archery hunting.
