If i was to trap a bobcat and chose to keep the hide for myself am I required to have it checked by the department? Also, only smooth jawed traps are allowed correct? Any help would be highly appreciated. Thanks

Yes & yes........Big traps,bigholes, beaver castor, & lots of eye appeal, feathers work great.
