What's a ball park price for the following boat.

1995 F&F 1648 all welded hull
1995 50hp Yamaha jet drive

It's got front and back aluminum decks, 12/24v trolling hook up (no trolling motor), 2-6 gallon fuel tanks, and gigging rail with 5 x 300w halogen lamps.

What kind of shape is the boat and trailer in? I sold a 1650 flatbottom with a 25 long shaft merc that was 15 yrs old in 2005 for 2,500. It had a livewell, trolling motor, camo paint and a front deck. So I would say, somewhere in the $4-5K range, depending on the shape of it, and how bas it looks to be beat down. Lets face it boats with jet motors are desgined to go through some nasty stuff. Boulders, stump fields, gravel bars. They are bound to be beat pretty good.

It's got a pretty good dent on the right side from a rock otherwise the hull has a few scratches but in pretty good shape. The trailer is rusty and needs a good paint job. The lights work great and have LED taillights as well. I'll snap some pictures of it and post them up.

Man I can't imagine my boat being worth 4-5k considering what I bought it for two years ago. If that's true, then I got the deal of my lifetime. I know it was a good deal, but dang!

I would the 4 to 5k ranges is about right. I have been keeping my eye on used boat prices as we would like to buy one in a year or two or three or whenever we have the money. :D

Try the NADA website and see what the price is for a 95 1648 Alweld. Your boat will be similar to that. You can also look on Troutt's and Jet Doctor's website and see what boats like yours are bringing. That will give you a pretty good idea of what your boat is worth.

Unless you can buy your friend's boat out right without having to go to the bank, I think that I would keep running the one that I have.
