Blood tracking dog

2208 Views 15 Replies 9 Participants Last post by  Steelman
Good friend hit a nice buck at super close range. Possibly one lung, but definitely some guts. They tracked it 50yds with sparse blood and pulled out to let him sit overnight. If the trail dries, anyone know a tracking team in SWMO? Springfield area.

Use this guy. Great dog. Good dude. They'll help you and his rate is super reasonable.

$50 seems cheap.
That is reasonable! I hope I never need a dog to track but if I ever get in that situation I would gladly pay that.
He asked me for the hooves of that doe I killed that he helped me with. I tipped him $20 and vacuum sealed the hooves for him. He was really cool and helped me get the deer out and hung out with me while I was quartering it out and all. Definitely a good dude to have in your corner.

OH good deal. Yeah, I was pleasantly surprised when he said he only wanted $50!
The guy my buddy used a couple of weeks ago charged $75 to bring the dog out and another $75 when he found it.
He said he told him he hasn't missed one yet. :D (It didn't take very long)
