I had fun making this one!
This blade was forged from really heavy 5160 stock with a differential heat treatment.
    Black Canvas Micarta handle.
    Hot blued mild steel fittings.
    Full take-down configuration.
The gadget in the photo is the "wrench" to take the knife apart.
The small end is turned on my lathe to exactly fit the hope in the pommel nut!
I've never explained this, but there are four internal pins in this knife. Two on each end of the handle material. On the front they go into two holes in the back of the guard. On the rear end, there are two holes in the hidden side of the butt cap! These pins lock the knife parts together in the same place EVERY time! There is no movement possible.
A mechanical connection is always superior to adhesive.
