Got my biggest turkey this morning. And people think you can't run down turkeys. My dad and me were on our way to our blinde when we saw that there were turkeys right in front of it. so i crawled to were I could see them while my dad video-taped. I inded up runing the turkey down and it tried to fly and hit a tree. So when I caught up to it, while it was running off again, I shot it twiceand it was finaly down. It was 28 pounds, had 1 inch spurs, and a 10 inch beard. Not bad for on ur way to the stand huh?
