Bigger or Closer?

Got a Catfish hole about 10 miles further but has bigger Channel Cats and it can be pretty muddy at times getting in there.

Got a closer place but smaller fish and is easier getting in.

Would you go to the closer hole?

:D The Big Grin would go where there is water.

Find some blue's, they're better eating anyway.

Well I catch several at Truman Lake but it is a mess fishing from the Bank now and is a bit of drive. Right now with Doctors and all have to stay closer to here.

Do have a Cabin up there which makes it nice.

:D The Big Grin needs to go to the Cabin.

When I was younger I normally chose the easier hole most nights.

Well that one place is really muddy needing 4WD to get there then possibly sliding in the water like I did one time was lucky to have my wife pull me out. Now I only have one arm which would make it fun.

:D The Big Grin could get mud all over the Pickup.
Do what makes you happy Oneshot.

I’m happy today. I added a new species to my fly fishing lifetime list. I caught a gar on a shuttle**** fly from my vise.

Ah New Place to fish, I know Cats are in there and right now I need an easier place to get around.

I went over on a Saturday knowing that there should be people there. It sure was nice talking with locals on fishing and hunting even talked about boats.

Did my own reading the water nice riffle running into a hole. Looks good!

:D Is he going to take the Big Grin? We shall see.
