I know those area like the back of my hand. spend many many cold night gigging suckers up and down that river. caught my fair share of goggle-eye on it too:rotfl:

Yep, a small world indeed. We are moving to boiling springs next month. Hey Bowkil, we are looking for some pasture to rent somewhere close and also for a provider of hay. If you know of anyone in the area that may have either, would you u2u me some info? Maybe we can hook up sometime after things settle down from the move and wet a line or two!

i just moved here from california a little over a year ago. my grandpa was sick with cancer and passed last March thats why we moved down here, plus theres so many gangs and mexicans in california we got tired of it. my grandpa lived in roby. i live in success on success road, the only log cabin. i cruised down on boiling springs just the other day, alot of houses for sale. i dont know of pasture land. you using for cattle? ill keep an eye out, as for hay i got a connection from licking ill proably end up making a trip again in a few days and load up my horse trialer, plus neighbors wants some too. my neighbor lived in duke, names Delbert Curtis old timer good guy. i drove through there but never hunted in duke
some guy caught a 8lb drum and a 5lb small mouth right off of the concrete bridge on boilin springs. you ever been to white trace conservation area? its right next to salem great dove hunting there. im down to do some fishin, like i said i never been floating. and i never been to the big lakes around here either.

No cows, just horses. Might throw a feeder steer or two in if we ever find some pasture to rent. I'm surprised anyone catching anything that big with as many people that are usually in the river near the bridge. I figure the fishing will be much better down the river a little where it is quiet. Never been to trace conservation area. Havent really had time to look for any local lakes yet either. I know of Roby lake but havent been there yet. I'm really gonna have to brush up on the regs too since we have been spoiled to pond fishing where we are right now.

Yeah, I do some horse training. Been buying young horses and training them for trails. We are gonna have room for our few riding horses at the house but are wanting to find some pasture to rent to keep some of the new ones I havent started training yet. Do you do any riding in the state forest around there? We wanted to do an overnight ride and camp out up at Paddy Creek last summer but just couldnt fit it in.
