Here is a picture that was sent to me by a friend of mine. His uncle caught this 80+ blue on rod and reel on the Missouri River.

He must be strong... He isn't even straining; it almost looks like the fish is hung from a tree or something. :D

no word on the bait. I just know that it took him 40 minutes to land the fish. He was bound and determined to pull it over the side of the boat himself but decided to let his fishing buddies dip it and pull it for him because he was tired.

oh yeah,:whinging:and parker pulled into the farm today and the neighbors had a fresh big ole flathead hanging on the fencepost they caught at mt friday night said it weighed in the sixties:wave:

I got a few pictures of that fish soon after it was caught. Don't think I have them anymore though.

I wouldn't mind hooking in to one of those, and it would be even better if it was a flathead!
