Big 8 on camera

    First time i have gotten a picture of this buck this year. Hopefully he shows up Saturday morning.


    What is your alls thoughts on score?

    Don't know about score, not very good at that, seeing as though I've never harvested a deer in my life. 155? I dunno...

    Nice buck. I'm not very good at scoring them, but he scores high enough to shoot.

    Just for reference, last year I shot my first deer, which was a nice 8 pointer that scored right at 115. I think my deer was similar to this one, but this rack looks bigger.

    Thought this might help give you an idea of what it might score, the body size is also very similar to mine.

    Also, this is my first post, I'm a long time lurker!

    edited to add that I don't see my buck picture...where did I go wrong?

    He isnt dead yet, hopefully he will show up in front of my stand Saturday morning though.

    I think he would look good in some field shots than you probably should let him ride in the back of your truck!! good luck:cheers:

    The dead deer is actually the one I tried to post in my reply about my deer that scored 115 last year. I think it got put in the wrong spot.

    Either way, Similar looking deer, the one that is still out there appears to have a bigger rack, so you are looking at 115 plus.
