Got these in an email...Black Bear cub that is white....no pink nose or eyes, so not an albino...just white!!!! Pretty cool!!!

actually that is what they call a Kermode Bear - they are also called Spirit Bears

they are actually black bears that have a gene that codes for white hair, rather than black. However, their skin, nose, eyes, etc. are still full of dark pigment.

dwm - I was going to say, isn't there some kind of Indian "saying" regarding White Bears, Elk or other animals....
