Was wondering why I haven’t seen deer in a 2 acre bean plot the last week or so . They are completely gone . I am wondering if it’s too late to put in wheat and or cereal rye

Not surprised they ate 2 acres of beans. I've had them completely demolish 12 acres before. If you only can plot 2 acres, you may want to consider switching crops. Might also need to remove a few does. Just some suggestions.

Cereal rye would still work. Wheat could if the weather cooperates but I would not count on it. If it were me, I'd go with cereal rye and get it down before sooner than later. Hopefully we're getting enough dew/frost to give it the moisture it needs.
