MAN IT'S BEEN A LONG DAY!!!
I'll start with last night.Out ML huntin I had two bucks(one good one) chase the heck out of a doe.And several other does.Just too far away.

I figured if them does are back tonight the(a) buck would be there to.

Today.
I went to the city by myself today doin some last minute shopping...Along with everyother person in the city!
Trying to hurry home to hunt I ran into some THICK fog.
Got home and out the door at 4:00.By 4:15 I'm easing into my spot...Get to where i'm gonna sit and there are several does already in the field...Look in front of me about 100yds at the edge is not one but five bucks gettin ready to enter the field...
I eased closer to about 90yds...Picked the biggest,shot and missed!They all just stand there...About that time a doe breaks out into the field with the two biggest bucks on her tail.Now I panic!
They got out in the field far enough in the fog,I could just see their outlines...I start walkin straight towards them.At about 90 yards I picked the widest one and shot.It was beyond obvious that I hit him hard just by the sound.Couldnt see the best cause the smoke and fog.
Started walkin the way they ran when I notice them all standing looking at me.Could see a buck but no way to tell it was mine.When they finally ran I saw my buck laying where they were standing.

AND BOY IS IT MUDDY!!!!Got our little 4whlr stuck a couple times!But thank heavensI had it!

This is my 1st buck with a muzzleloader.And the 1st for my new gun.
I know it sure is hard to get the primer on during a reload when your "In the moment"!

This buck means the world to me!I thought for the 1st time in my adult life I would be eating tag soup!
