Barrel; Stainless/Blued/Nickel/What to do? What are your suggestions guys and gals? I do take extreme care of my firearms. They get beat up a bit but I do clean them regularly. Any suggestions? op:
It's as personal choice I suppose. I have one that is stainless and any future ones will be the same if possible. I hate rust. Stainless is easier to take care of I think. I also like the blue and nickel I have too. Decisions, decisions.....:roll2:
I like stainless and synthetic. That way I don't worry about hunting in the rain or of the stock gets beat up. Don't get me wrong. A walnut stock is beautiful, but I use my guns and wouldn't want to take one like above out into the woods.
JackJr you and I came from the same mold. Those stocks are simply beautiful. I don't even own a gun that is not ALL wood and blued. Even my old Sheridan 5mm pellet rifle which was my very first gun bought back in 1963 from Montgomery Wards for $17 has a walnut stock. Love that wood with blued barrels.
