i would like to know why this ca is shut down to the bow hunters during duck season. are duck hunters more priviledged than the bow hunter ? i dont see why both groups cant be there at the same time

As hard a time as us deer guys like to give the duck hunters they are definitely limited in the number of places to hunt. Over 95% of Missouri's wetlands are gone and deer hunting opurtunities are available nearly statewide. For conservation areas with managed duck hunts, deer hunting during the duck season is restricted to minimize disturbance and conflicts. It is my understanding that there is still some limited access archery hunting areas on bk leach during the duck season.
