I bought a wall mount kit for a set of antlers. I am trying to remove the tissue and antlers that are dried on and am struggling. Any tips on how to remove the dried up tissue.

Yup, soak it in a bucket of water, it'll soften up. Then, you can either whittle it all off, or leave it in that bucket, and macerate it....it'll rot off, clean!!! Depends on how big of a hurry you are in!

I dont think rubbing alchohol is going to do it..

Best bet I think is soapy water and wait a while like fireman said.

Tie a rope to it and throw it in a pond or hang it off a dock. Your rack will be clean and you'll be feeding the fish.::rock:

Big pan of hot water on the stove (not boiling) with a bit of liquid fabric softener. Test it after a couple of hours soaking.
