Yep, 20th...hope you don't plan on needing any water to hunt em though...dry as a bone in NE Arkansas.

The field guys are pumping water and they should hold a few...oxbox guys have water....river and lake guys have water but most of the flooded timber guys are hurting.

Might be good if you have private ground cause you're gonna have the monopoly on water for a while.

I'm talking public...Buddy's group probably has a pump that they flood their timber with.

We're praying for rain though. If you have ever crossed the Cache river between Sedwick and Jboro you will know what I am talking about. You can look south as you cross it and see two puddles where the river is supposed to be.:boohoo:

We still have some water in our timber and also have blinds facing the river and also pump several other areas. We are on the black river, more water there. I heard the cache is just puddles anymore. We have water in sloughs yet.

Black def. has more water but the gauge at Corning tells a sad story.

Private is def. the way to go if you are coming down here to hunt early season. Glad you guys are able to get your timber underwater and I hope you wear em out:claphands: on opening day!
