Is morel season over? Getting slim in southern MO. Also kind of done in mid MO. Ive heard it is still good in northern MO

Picked over 100 in Lincoln County Sunday, all yellows and most past their prime but still edible.

Last Thursday into Friday I finally started finding clumps of yellow Morels 4/5 in a group. Found 20/30 lbs over those 2 days. Warm nights without temp swings and plenty of moisture... This was NE Texas Co...

Probably would be worth one last walk or 2... ???

As of yesterday we were still finding a bunch of fresh greys, all in the timber under maples. I'm looking forward to these rains moving out so we can give it another go.

Creek bottoms? All ours were in bottoms around birch.
