This is my biggest archery buck to date so for some it may not be big.
I climbed up a big hardwoods hill around 3:30 yesterday, climbed sprayed the area down with some Estrus Plus, and climbed up. The wind was blowing in my face and i knew the area to my left and downwind both had potential. I called after 30 minutes and rattled a bit and nothing happened. During the hunt every 10 or 15 minutes or so i misted the Estrus and i could see the wind taking it over to some cedars and hopefully down the backside of this little mountain. Around 5 he came in on a string to the scent. I wanted to try the RAGE 2blade this year for kicks b/c of all the talk. well I got a pass thru both shoulders at 23 yards, clean through each plate. He then took off ran 100yards towards the truck to boot. Couldn't have asked for any better. What do you all think of his curled main? Genetics or being too rough during growth?

Oh, the stuff that brought him in was $4.99 from dickey bubs. It was from hunter specialties, the cheapes they had i think.

Nuttin wrong with that buck at all. Took me probably 10 or 12 years to get one that size.:2thumbsup:

As for the curl.......he was right eye dominate.

Not really...that is usually caused like you said...bumping into something while it was growing.

    Congrats....thanks for the photo.

I don't know what you all think but my area is getting better every year. I think this point restriction thing is doing some good in Franklin Co.
