Icebreaker Insulated Boot Blanket Overboots

link

Thinking about getting me a pair of these but wanted some opinion if they work or not. Looks like a heck of a deal if they do though.

I use 'em. And love 'em. I don't wear them over my boots though. I take my boots off and wear them over my socks.

Well I'm going to go out on a limb and say that I have a pair and I HATE THEM!! :mad2: I wore them over my boots. (never tried them over just my socks after taking my boots off which would probably work great) For me, they didn't work at all. I wouldn't waste my time/money on them. I sure wish someone would have told me the same thing before I bought mine. I could have spent a lot more on boots and wool socks and kept my money from these things. That's just my 2 cents and I'm sure I'll be the odd man out here.

[rquote=1515969&tid=105696&author=FiremanBrad]They look cozy....My wife needs some before she goes to bed, maybe her freakin feet wouldn't be like ice cubes!!!:D:wave:[/rquote]

Just stick a little heating pad at the foot of the bed for about twenty minutes before you crash. It helps a LOT, speaking as a cold-footed person who lives alone.

Or, let the dog sleep on the bed.:2thumbsup:

I have a pair that I bought when they first came out. I've used them a few times. Just don't wear them to the stand....you'll look like Mickey Mouse.

Don't slip them over your wet boots. If your feet are cold before you slip these on your feet they will take forever to warm up if they ever do. Slip them on as soon as you get into your stand after you wipe off your feet while your feet are still warm. If you don't....about the same as putting on your waders after you cross the creek. If your feet are warm these will keep them warm.

I bought a pair of these this year, and am still up in the air on them, I have wore them 3 sits

-first sit my boots were wet and cold when I put them on and they didn't help at all

-second sit, i put them on before my feet got cold and they seemed to help some

-third sit put them on over wet cold boots and threw a handwarmer in the toes, and they worked wonders

the second time I used them, the zipper broke on the back of one of the boots
