I saw zero on a scouting trip last evening. Patrick and I set up way back in the timber this morning and saw 3. He shot a big doe. Hopefully horns will show up this evening for him. I have been seeing pretty subdued deer activity for about the past 6 or 7 days.

Seen quite a bit of mid day movement. I would not kill myself getting out too early. Go out at 0800 and sit til 1500. You'll kill something. Seen deer today at 0900 coming out to feed in the road ditches. Seen deer yesterday going out into a field at 1000. Cold weather movements are a little different

Saw what I thought was a doe and a fawn come in yesterday late afternoon. One shot later I found out the bigger one was a button buck. :D  Oh well, he'll eat just fine.

We sure saw some saturday but they were on the move.

Not much activity unless they were pushed. Tough time of the year but fun nonetheless.

Just came back from a short drive around the house. Saw quite a few deer 14+, saw one group of 6 Does that I could have shot with a sling shot they were so close. They are sure on their feet during shooting hours

Saw an 8 and a 4 Saturday morning in the beans. Passed on the 8. Didn't see anything the rest of the weekend. Cousin killed a keyote with mange. My other cousin saw a spike and doe at daylight Saturday. The big ones just weren't out this weekend.

We saw 10 this evening. The only deer that provided a shot oppertunity were a button buck and a spike. It seems to be picking up some in our area. Maybe this week and next weekend will be good.
