I've been wanting to ask this for a while but, haven't had a chance. We hunt some property that borders a state forest that doesn't allow antlerless hunting. The part of the property that borders the state land is very hard to access without crossing a very large creek, 2 deep ravines and climbing 2 very steep ridges. My question is, if we park on the state land and hunt our private ground for antlerless season would we run into any problems if we harvest an antlerless deer and drag it to the truck through the state land? Of course we would not have loaded firearms until we are on the private land and would unload them prior to reentering the state land. Thank you for providing us this opportunity to ask questions here.

I'm not an Agent but since this hasn't been answered in over two weeks I would suggest to call your local Agent and ask that individual this question since he/she would be the officer that would be more than likely involved if you were to get stopped on State Land. Best be on the up and up with your agent plus you will feel a lot better if you do get the go ahead from them.
