Posting this for Cummins... Since he hates traditional AR's.....:rof2:

Guns & Ammo did a write up on these. To me, kinda defeats the purpose of the AR platform, the ability to swap parts, and configure to your own personal taste.... But, if you want an AR like rifle, but don't want an AR, I reckon it'd do....

MR1 SPECIFICATIONS
Cal: 5.56 x 45mm NATO (.223 Rem.)
Barrel Length: 16"
Stock: Synthetic Tactical Pistol Grip
OAL 37.1"
Weight: 7.9 lbs. (w/o magazine)
MSRP: $1299

Other specifications
Bore characteristics: Hard chrome lined, 1 Twist in 9 in, hand.
Method of operation: ARGO (Auto-Regulating-Gas-Operated) Rotating bolt.
Type of Sights: Military-style aperture sights with picatinny rail. Effective range: 600m (Or so Benelli says... )

Probably could use it to help hold a place in the safe until I can get rid of it and get something useful.

I agree... Not sure why someone would spend $1300 for one of these, that is not near as versatile as the AR platform.... But, you know someone out there, that maybe is real familiar with Nelli scatter guns, will find this rifle to their liking...

Kinda thinking the same thing.
1300 will get you a nice AR and some other options also nowadays.

Nelli shure is proud of their stuff.

You could get yourself a heck of an AR for 1300$. I'd look at the Kel Tec SU16 as an alternative. It's half the price. Or even a Ruger Mini 14, they have stepped their game up in accuracy.
