I like to get mine in the ground by the first of April at the latest.

Both of these bucks are still alive.....I hope to somehow get a pattern on them this summer.

Two days ago we still had 15 inches of snow on the ground here. Now we're down to maybe 4 inches.....can't wait till it's gone.

Dark one looks like he's gonna have a really tall rack this year. I'd love to see one that size.

I got mine put out about 3 weeks ago. I came up with a new mix. We'll see how it goes.

    50 lbs stock salt
    10 lbs trace mineral salt
    10 lbs di-calcium phosphate
10 lbs calcium limestone (feed grade)
1 box arm and hammer super washing soda

Iget to spend 4 days down at the farm in a few weeks, probably refresh the licks then, spread some lime...do some other odds and ends...be lazy for a few days...

I've got a few to refresh, some of mine were still in use in January this year as I watched a few does hit the lick right before I shot them. :claphands:
