While riding my ATV to go check my trail cam today I came close to having a very bad accident. I was moving down the old dirt road at about 25mph when all of the sudden a pretty big doe decided to jump out directly in front of me. I slammed on the brakes and came skidding to a halt. I bet I came within a foot of hitting her. I'm glad she didn't hesitate a little longer, or she might have ended up on top of me. I'm also glad I was paying attention! Oh well, no good pics on the cam, same 6-8 deer that always show up.

I've seen a few deer while easing aroung in the timber, but never that close of an encounter.
I had a buck look right at me, then walk away, and when i say walk, I mean just like he was in no hurry, he just mozied(sp?) away.:roll2:

ditto - I'd of had to check my soiled pants after that.
