There is probably a list of individuals that deserve involuntary manslaughter charges. Those that approved a real pistol and the one that loaded it are top of the list along with Alec pulling the trigger. Not defending him, but there is definitely more than one person responsible for this senseless tragedy. Honestly I equate it to handing a child a loaded weapon. There are millions of adults that are completely clueless about basic firearms safety and that number grows every day.

Who brought live rounds onto the set and who loaded the gun before handing it to Baldwin? I despise the guy and he isn’t innocent by any means of what occurred. I think negligent homicide is likely the proper charge for him.

Safety protocols clearly were not a priority by anyone in charge on this set.

Wow Im shocked how everyone here wants to hang this lib Baldwin. Im sure he hates guns and ******** that want to own guns. My bet is he would need to be taught how to hold a gun for the seen so gun is not sideways or him able to see down barrel while sighting . 99% of these movie productions contract business such as independent studio services to supply firearm and are 100% liable for production safety. I know nothing about this event because I refuse to watch any of the so-called news they put on tv.

I read it on a cnn website that said the internal parts of the gun malfunctioned causing it to misfire. Of course that same article now mentions nothing of it. Typical bs reporting on their part

I honestly dont think he should goto prison for this. As part of this countries problem is prisons flooded with non violent felons, while many violent ones serve short terms or go free because of overcrowding. Save the cell space for them. But he needs to be held accountable for his negligence.

CJ, Even if he were convicted his prison cell would probably be right across the tennis courts from Todd Chrisley akin to Martha Stuart’s penal housing… we are not Russia we are not sending a high profile celeb to a Siberian camp. I’d make him hurt financially, limit his ability to travel outside the country, serious community service, put a bracelet on his ankle and restrict his freedoms, but putting him in a cell don’t make sense to me because he didn’t intend to kill anyone, i dont want him taking a prison slot that could be filled by a real violent criminal. You can make his life miserable without putting him in a jail.
