IMG_0526.JPG My dentist has been see this buck in woods behind his office. Slipped in yesterday and killed him. A toad anywhere but extremely rare down here.

I knew he was a dentist as soon as I saw his smile. That deer might even make me smile if I killed it.

    Yea, Nice buck :D

Do they have to put anything special on that 'rotting flesh' for the mount? Just curious.

I got the pics texted to me yesterday afternoon right after the kill and was told not to show anyone.Within 5 minutes it was already all over Facebook literally before the deer was even skinned lol.Heck of a deer,St Francisville used to be the golden place to be for deer when I was a kid.Not quite as good as back then but as you can tell they still got some studs running around

Yeah antleredcraze. I live in west Feliciana parish for about 11 years. Hunted there all my life. I don't think the deer is as big as picture makes him look but still a nice deer. He killed him in downtown. They still kill the occasional 150" buck but the folks from the lp have invaded big time....

Dang that pic makes buck look 200". Idk how big he is. Regardless he is a toad. The deer was killed in west Feliciana parish. About 45 minutes north of Baton Rouge.

Yeah the parishes all the along the west side of the river is dang near impossible anymore to afford to hunt there, same on the east side of river once you hit Mississippi state line too. Some people will pay $10k a year for a club,I just ain't one of those people ha

If I remember right, there is a Nuclear Power Plant near St. Francisville....might explain a little. Very nice buck and a very rare occurrence for down there.....although St. Francisville was always known for its deer and turkey hunting when I was a kid.
