    No, not mine. It's a nice story though. My friend couldn't take his son hunting today due to prior committments, so my neighbor stepped up and took the youngster hunting. They were watching a group of jakes off in the distance when this young tom snuck up on them from their right flank. One blast of the 20 gauge and it was the last sneakin' that bird did. He was done hunting by 7:00, the kid was sure happy! His first bird. I'm very happy my neighbor stepped up for the young fellow. Picture of my neighbor and the shooter.

    That's great! My hunting partner's nephew called me this morning to tell me the story of his first, which he took at 6:30 this morning. 13 lbs, with an 8" beard. Boys name is Josh Huber, and he took it at his Uncle Keith's south of Higbee. If I get a pic, I'll post it. Josh is 11, and a great kid. I think he is from the Puxico area.

    thats greathe looks like a happy camper,i didn't make it with the daughter this morning,went on out to see if i could find the blind,found it about a quarter of a mile away from where i put it.we had a heck of a storm last evening.one of the boys that was hunting with his mom shot this morning,but they havn't made it back to the truck yet.so that is not a good sign
