We're trying to sell this truck, husband wants a Harley. It's an XLT with the big V8. Has 80,000 miles on it and is loaded. Leather interior, 6 disc changer.... We started with it in the paper for $9500, but listed it this last time for $8500 and are willing to wiggle some.

Fo sho....2 wheels is better'n no wheels, I always say!!! Ride that Sporty for a year or two, and trade er in for a nice Road King, I'll guarantee you'll like THAT back seat a bunch better!!!

Well, the idea is I will be getting my own shortly after. He had a crotch rocket when I first started dating him, and talk about uncomfortable on the back of that thing.

personally i really want a fatboy but since i used to race quads the wifey don't feel it would be safe for me to have a fatboy.:cool3: i tell her its not the same i race for speed i want to ride for pleasure she just better watch out when i have me one of those mid life crisis things

Yeah the fatboys are pretty sweet. Hub really wanted a new V-rod, it's just a little more expensive.

CP I'll be new to it, and there's no way I will touch anything new until I know I'm ready. I've been looking at some of the old models of 250's - 450's and figure I will go take the riding class soon as the weather gets a little nicer. Once I get a nicer bike, I probably won't spend the money on a Harley unless I find a really good deal on down the road. Maybe something like this...

Ginger, State Fair Community College offers riding courses a couple of times a year...WELL worth the money, I put my son thru it a couple of years ago. Here's a pic of my Road King, and my Gfriends Fatboy...the other one, not me...lol. HFFF, don't drool too much on yo screen!!!

Hubs getting ancy to get his Harley, so the truck may end up on Ebay soon.

I'd say he's lucky to have ya!!!!!!! Any woman that'd buy her hubby a scooter is top notch in my book!!!!!!
