You go Jimmy. That's not an easy feat at that age.
George was a Muslim?he may be the 2nd worst President in history, but at least he's a hunter! better than the worst President who is a Muslim POS!
Several years back I was asked by an eighty something year old man if I would go call him a turkey. He had tried for several years but had never harvested a spring gobbler. So I told him sure, we'd go get him a turkey. So we went out and got set up on a turkey that was responding very well to the call. Try as I might, I could not convey to him how ready he needed to be. At this stage in his life his eyesight was not very good, and when the tom showed up at 15 yards right in front of us he could not spot him until the turkey started to spook. He ripped off a couple shots at that point but missed. At this point he immediately started apologizing for blowing it and totally expected me to be upset with him. I've never understood why someone thinks you should be mad because a turkey got away. I told him it was no big deal, we'd just go call in another one. And we did and he got his first spring gobbler of which he was thrilled. But that's not where the story ends. Later he fell and broke his hip. People were saying that elderly people don't recover from broken hips. But he pushed himself and got back on his feet. And the following year, despite heart problems, skin cancer, a broken hip, and numerous eye surgeries, we went out and he bagged another gobbler! I have a great deal of respect for elderly people like him or Jimmy Carter who keep living life, when it would be real easy to just stay home.Still an admirable accomplishment for a 94 year old. The political dumbassery shouldn't have entered the picture.
Well said . Exactly why the political doshbaggery shouldn't be part of the conversation.Several years back I was asked by an eighty something year old man if I would go call him a turkey.
