Well Longshot26 went deer hunting today. He had trouble going to sleep so was crogy in the morning and his head was pitching forward.

But he was full of anticipation. If he got a deer this season it would be his second deer ever.

He is putting the transport tag on the doe he shot at exactly 9am at a distance of 24 yards.

O forgot to say he shot his doe wiht a Remington Model 7 chamberd in 223 he was using teh Winchester power point 64 bullet.

Judge him if you want. He could see the deer as she stod facing him directly. But only part of her boddy that was not clutterd up by little sticks and brambels was half her neck and her head. I told him take the neck shot since she was standing perfectly still and facing us directly. I told him to aim on the white on her neck. He his dead center of the white patch and the results were the doe droped in her tracks and bleed out fast.

He is happy to have gotten what he was hunting for, a DOE. he wanted to take a doe since his first deer was a buck. He says his next deer will be a button buck.

Only reason we know how much his doe ways is we enterd it in the dress waight deer cotest at a taxadermist off road K. As it stands when we left his doe was in first plase by 10.4 pounds.

That cat sat in the blind with us from the moment we got in it and then tried eatting on the deer as i was removing the milk sack. It started laping the milk then latched onto one of the feed tubes and went to take off running.
