Awesome story behind this 8 pointer! I was on stand this morning and decided to come down at 10:00. As I was getting my stuff together at the bottom of the stand to go still hunt I look up and this 8 pointer was 40 yards away looking at me. I froze. He got to within 12 yards and then bounded off and trotted away until he met up with the wrong end of my A-Bolt. He had multiple tines broken off and was rutted up hard. Not my biggest buck, but a great hunt!

Yeah - back to bowhunting. I'll probably wait a couple of weeks - got a long list of things to get done that I have been putting off around the house. You know how that goes! I do need to shoot a number of does at some point as well.
