but for the first time, I did get ducks to come to my call and circle me several times. If I would have had some dekes I think I could have got them closer. they were headed out of sight when I started calling and they turned right at me and circled. I am still getting the hang of telling if they are in range. It was still a blast even if the ducks didnt fall.
seen lots of geese but they stayed out of range.

Longbow loaned me some dekes for next time. getting closer every trip.
