Still not getting it. I own several other centerfire calibers. Got bored with 308. 7.62x39 doesn’t have the reach. 30-06 well meh. Wanted to try something new, and don’t really have an interest in 260rem for that reason. As for load info, running 35-40g of powder instead of 60 in my 270 seems smart financially.

I don't have FB either, it's for emo hipsters. Congrats on the new round, I'm sure you'll be happy with it. The reason there are so many memes is because when it came out, there was a rush of guys who don't know jack about ballistics who bought into the advertising hype and thought they had the latest greatest thing on the block without realizing it's basically a 260Rem, and that the 6.5 Swede had been around for over 100years. I can't tell you how many times I've heard how fast and flat it shoots, which obviously it doesn't. Sure, if you're shooting competition at 1000yds it may have some advantages, but otherwise it's just the same old thing in a new wrapper. It makes a fantastic cxp2 class rifle due to its low recoil, short action, ideal bullet weight, etc. but so do a half dozen other round that have been around awhile like a 7mm-08, 260, etc. and now that the 6.5PRC is out, it no longer owns the small niche it tried to fill.Still not getting it. You and camo probably compared who has the biggest gun already and have determined who has dominance over the other. I bet that was a hard pill to swallow for one of you.
