4th of July fishing

Had an awesome day fishing. My oldest son who enjoys fishing as much as I do was able to haul in this one plus another 2 about the same size. We have worked really hard to get the fish like this in size. Such a blast trying to land these in the boat.

My best day bass fishing was on the 4th of July years ago. My friend caught several including a fish that went over 5 pounds on a digital scale. I had caught several as well but nothing real big. Right before we made it back to the ramp I had a huge blow up on a buzzbait. That fish went right at 5 pounds. We had caught over 20 bass in 3 hours with two 5 pound fish.
