Say WHUT...

AND ~ there's ONLY 10 rounds per box...

Winchester Supreme Elite® Xtended Range® Hi-Density Turkey Loads

Specially formulated shot is 10% denser than lead, which translates to harder hits and deeper penetration. The shot is uniform in roundness and size yet soft enough to use your favorite turkey choke, giving superior patterning performance at longer range, delivering 25% more pellets on target than standard lead loads. 10 rounds per box.

Holy SMOKES Rick, you sure do shoot some expensive stuff...
Who said I shoot 'em?

If I did, I'm afraid my wife would shoot me...
Holy...

I'll stick with my winchesters with the little turkey on the side!
I shoot Winchester Supreme #5's ~ kills 'em dead enough for me...
yeah funny how in the last year theyve came out with all that high speed junkola.. the pricey stuff.. when you compare em shell for shell, the only truly difference is less shot and more powder... and they sure kick the hello out of ya too..
The price of tungsten has gone thru the roof. You should price some of Nitro Ray's ammunition...ouch! I'll stick with plain ol' lead.
About the same as some of those new fancy fishing lures. Intended more to catch the buyer than the fish or game you are after.:bangin:

Jack
The next thing you know they'll have titanium shot. Just to add some more cost to it.
All I know is that they ain't git'n my money. I'm just glad I bought a few boxes about 5 years ago. Still have enough to last a couple of years. Mr. Chairman I like your new avatar. My wife tends to think I may look like that pretty soon.
Or maybe some Uranium shot! :rotfl::D:hysterical:

Yep ~ my wife thinks Im starting to take root, as much as I've been on-line, since the switch to satellite.

I told her that I should be coming up to the end of the Internet soon, at this speed... :rotfl:

She just rolls her eyes, and goes to bed.

She's learning to pick her battles wisely ~ and this ain't one of 'em.

When she saw this avatar, she said, "That fits you to a T"...so I just agreed, and went about my business.

For I've learned to pick my battles more wisely, too.

OK, OK...

I guess in the ideal situation 10 shells should last 5 spring seasons;). So, thats about $5 a year, or with the way i shoot will be about $50 a year:bangin:. I think i will stick with the good ol' winchesters.

For us fall turk chasers.. 25 bux will only last ya a tad over 2 years.. so 10 bux a year.. :moon:

I think im jus gonna throw rocks at em.. sure be alot cheaper
I'm with you Chairman, those #5 winchester supremes do the trick just fine. Last week I bought a box for I think $8 or $9. I do like them high velocity, but for that price, no way. Maybe try and pick some up after season for about $10 a box.
I got 2 boxes of Winchester Supreme 3 1/2" #6's on clearance at wallyworld last spring for if I remember right, 5 bucks a box!!!!! So I'm good to go for a year or two...lol

Now there's an idea...

I'd like to shoot 'em just once, for kicks, but not at retail price. :cool3:
You'd get a kick allright with all that powder.
