i want get into the coyote hunting mode, i have a remington modle 700 243 , im shooting the winchester silver ballistic tip 95 grains. is this ok or do i need to go to the 55 grain bullet.
From what I have seen the BST make big holes, as long as your not trying to keep the hides perfect it will kill them dead for sure. I have used the .243 on coyotes but have switch to the 22-250 because of the smaller bullet and cheaper ammo. Good luck.
Are you actually going to skin them? A really good coyote hide from Missouri "might" make $8.00 this year... maybe. If you are going to skin for hides then the .243 isn't your best choice of cartridge. But it is a pure bonafide coyote killer with few equals!
