Never hurts to ask... does anyone have a 22 mag or even a 17 they'd be interested in selling? I'm basically looking for what I'd call a beater. Something I can throw on the 4 wheeler or in the truck and not worry about. Sure don't need to be pretty as long as it shoots good.

I got the cheapest model savage for that use. (Not wanting to sell it though) They are fairly cheap brand new. 229. I think thats the same price for the plain marlin too

There are a few .17 on midwestguntrader.com...never see many .22mags,I love mine..would like a .22 mag lever,but not for 500$+
