Asked the local hardware store guy to order me some today. He pretty much said he couldnt get any. Dunno if thats him or the facts. Gonna order mine at bp or cabelas now. Good luck

thats the other bummer, i really dont need a box of 500 primers. I'll never use that many no matter how long i own this gun. we'll be up in stl tomorrow, hopefully i stumble across some, somewhere up there.

A few of my sources keep them in the back room and not on the shelves. You have to ask for them and the one I found that had them only would allow you 300 per customer. That way not one person can buy out the lot.

So...just because you don't see them on the shelf doesn't mean that they don't have any.

jus bought some 4 dollars per 100 cci walmart has lots of primers up here you can have your local walmart get them from another store

As far as I know, there's no shortage of shotgun primers at all, and there hasn't been. If someone is trying to get $8/100 for them, go somewhere else, that's twice the going rate, plus some.

i just bought 15000 win 209's 3-4 weeks back, had no problems then, and i aint heard of shotgun primers being on any shortage list, well maybe for wal-mart, but then again most wal-marts are getting away from carrying any hunting goods, not all are but a good portion are
