I think Brownells has those in stock right now. I may just break down and try those. I’ve read they’re a little different size than the domestic primers. The way they’ve been so hard to get for a long time it may be better to have those than nothing at all.

They are a hair larger and not as hot as 209a.

Need CCI mags,Fed 209a to light that expensive BH209

Cheddite ,fiocchi and any other 209 will light pyrodex powder,pellets,ffg,fffg,and 777 loose or pellets but BH209 needs magnum or 209A

Cheddite and Fiocchi and most european 209 primers are a bit shorter and they wont light BH209 on a very good success rate

I use Winchester 209's with absolutely no issues with BH209. My firearm is a T/C Triumph.

I didn’t realize, until pretty much yesterday, that you don’t have to use the magnum primer with BH209.
